Foster youth turning age 18, statistically would have been in care for 3-4 years. Leaving this system as a young adult poses challenges in sustaining a healthy and productive lifestyle. Moab House will provide stable housing with full-time, live-in family care.
Moab House seeks to change adoption as we know it. Most families don't want to adopt young adults, and some families are not equipped to adopt at all. Moab House provides an opportunity to the faith-based community to plant houses in order for their church body to be able to wrap their arms around these youth, in order to grow them up spiritually through valuable discipleship opportunities.
Not only will Moab House provide loving and supportive home environments, it will also promote good citizenship and discipleship. To do this Moab House will work with area businesses to provide internships to our young adults. Moab House will also partner with the local church to provide mentorship opportunities that utilize people's hobb

Our leadership team was formed out of individuals who love and care for orphans. They each have a desire to see foster kids and communities across the United States, impacted for this mission of love.
He showed her that Moab is the place that Moses stood where God showed him the Promise Land. This place...Moab House...is not the foster kids "promise lands" but "The Place Before the Promise." Moab House will do its part to help grow them up to step into the next and best season of life!
